At Presidency, we believe that children must receive a thorough grounding of whatever concepts they learn and that this learning has to be integrated with life. KINDERGARDEN: NURSERY, PREP I AND PREP IIKG

A stage when your toddler is curious about everything around him

At the kindergarten level, we follow the Integrated Montessori approach. This approach seeks to sensitize toddlers to the learning environment, by reaching out to their intelligence and understanding their unique talents.Toddlers are quick to learn things through their interaction with the environment around them. Which is why, we introduce experiential learning at this early stage itself. This nurtures their curiosity and helps develop their cognitive and analytical skills.

Fun is an important aspect of learning for tiny tots. So we ensure that there isn’t a dull moment in their day at PSMNG.

PRIMARY SECTION: GRADES I – IV

A stage when your child starts to learn new concepts and ideas

This is the next rung of the ladder. Along the corridor are grades I to IV.There is a buzz of excitement and activity in the air. Following the latest pedagogical trends, the Thematic Inter-disciplinary approach has been adopted at this level. The curriculum encourages children to explore their interests, as they move gradually from the familiar to the unknown. Adequate scope is given for creativity and self expression, and social skills of adaptability and team work.
The curriculum addresses the uniqueness of each child and provides exposure beyond the academic. Role-play, dance, music and field trips, sports and a range of hobby interests add new dimensions to the growth of the child.
Our faculty is experienced in the fields of early childhood education and child development. MIDDLE LEVEL: GRADES V TO VIII

Social interaction, taking on responsibility – Moving in the direction of self discipline.

The Middle school, grades V – VIII, challenges learners with a broader curriculum, to lay the foundation for the High School Academic programme. Study skills are honed, concepts taught are thoroughly grounded and resourcefulnessand commitment to work are encouraged, while group work and interacting with classmates cater to growing social awareness.
Induction into the House system helps to inculcate loyalty, and team spirit. Use of the well stocked library for project work enhances habits of self study. The spectrum of extra-curricular activities gives immense scope for talents to surface in dramatics, music, art, dance, games and sports. Each student’s talent is channeled through a range of hobby clubs. Field trips and excursions form a part of this process.We have adopted the CCE (Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation) initiative by CBSE in its right spirit. With CCE, learning is an enjoyable experience and teachers resort to a variety of tools to access children in various subjects. SECONDARY AND SENIOR SECONDARY: GRADE IX – XII

The Secondary Grades IX & X – are a veritable bee hive of activity. Quality education – the best possible is provided, taking into consideration individual needs and aspirations. Suitably high demands are placed on the learners, with a view to stimulating high achievement levels. Each learner receives personal attention and guidance. Students’ work is monitored on a day-to-day basis, through class work, home work and projects. Comprehension of course materials is tested unit-wise and through mid-term tests and examinations.Progress reports and parent teacher meetings are a regular part of this programme. Extra-curricular activities form an integral part of the curriculum. Students now help in the planning and organization of school celebrations and competitions and are encouraged to showcase their skills at the Inter School in the Inter-School Fora. The school cabinet provides a valuable training ground for leadership.

Personality grooming is ensured through workshops on Life Skills, Value Education, Vocational Counseling and Counseling for teenage problems. Resource persons with necessary expertise conduct these programs.
