Presidency University hosts ‘INVINCIA 2022’
BANGALORE’S BIGGEST CULTURAL FEST HELD IN THE CITY ON 27 AND 28 MAY

INVINCIA 2022, the biggest Cultural Fest of Bangalore was organised by Presidency University on 27th-28th May 2022. The grand endeavour was a result of the concerted efforts of the entire team of the Department of Student Affairs under the guidance of the Hon’ble Chancellor Mr. Nissar Ahmed and the Vice President, Mr. Salman Ahmed.
Smt. Ashwini Puneeth Kumar, Producer (PRK Productions & PRK Audio) and alumni of Presidency School, RT Nagar, graced the inaugural function and declared the fest open. A special tribute was paid to the Legendary Actor Late Dr. Puneeth Rajkumar, whose memories are still cherished and celebrated. The ceremony was attended by all the key officials, staff and students of the University.

INVINCIA 2022 was a culmination of 50+ Group & Individual events, nurturing talents PAN India, with a student registration from over 90 different colleges and universities, more than 2100 external student participation and a mammoth crowd of 20000+ Students. Divine x Gully Gang headlined Day 1 with a spectacular performance. Various artists like Khanzaadi, Loud-silence, Jubilman and others set the mood for the entry of Divine (Gully Gang) Day 2 was inaugurated by Mr. Javed Ali and marked the start of a huge variety of competitions in the genres of dance, dramatics, music, and fine arts. EMCTruth and Arjun (DJ Quake) opened the show for the mesmerizing, talented singer Ananya Birla, followed by DJ Dr. A, which left the crowd enthralled.
Chancellor, Mrs. Kauser Nissar presented the Overall Championship of Invincia’22 Award to St. Josephs College, Bangalore while the Runner Up Trophy went to Kristu Jayanti College, Bangalore. More than 20,000 students from across 90 colleges PAN India attended the two-day festivities of INVINCIA 2022.
Commenting on the event, Salman Ahmed, Vice President of Presidency University Bangalore said, “I congratulate the Department of Student Affairs, who with their talent, hard work, passion and imagination, created this magical event. This platform provided them the opportunity to bring out their latent talents and transform their skills into execution, giving them more confidence. We feel proud of our students for having pulled off such a spectacular event. We are excited that our aim of holding the biggest cultural fest in Bangalore, was realised in this overwhelming BLOCKBUSTER response.”
Talents day Activities & Events – “Skills and Thrills”
Talent fest was organized by Presidency School, Mangalore for all students – Grades 1 to 12 & PUC. The motto of this fest was to bring out the innate talents of the students.
Students enthusiastically participated in various events and exhibited their talents. The show had activities like Singing, Button Art, Jewellery Art, Rangoli, Tattoo Art, Nail Art, Solo Dance, Instrumental Music & Vegetable /Fruit Carving.
It was a well-organized event that left many memories and created a longing for more of such competitions among all participants.
Ganith week activities
Ganith week activities at Presidency School, Mangalore were conducted to motivate students towards understanding the application of math using different creative activities. Math activities and competitions were planned and executed by the respective Math teachers in classes. Students participated with interest and enthusiasm. The activities targeted each student’s orientation and triggered curiosity towards the subject. A well planned assembly was conducted with the theme “PI DAY”. Teachers shared a presentation, educating students about the contribution of Indian Mathematicians during the HRP.
The sole objective of this competition is to provide a platform for the students to exhibit their talent and to foster creativity and presentation skills in the subject.

Library Week
Mom & Me – Dads Day Out

Parents play the biggest role in our development. Father and mother play important role in our mental, physical, social, financial and career development. Parents are the most precious gift of God for us. They help us in every step of our life.
Students spent the day with their Father and Mother singing songs, playing games, making a hand print of the father and child , cards for their mother, special salad . Parents too appreciated the activity as they could spend time with their child on a virtual platform.
Field Trip to Oddoor Farm
Field trip was organized by the Presidency School, Mangalore for students of Grade 10, where they visited “Oddoor Farm”.
Oddoor farms is an inspiring example of the efforts made by Mr Rajesh Naik to transform 120 acres of barren land into a lush green farm through his persistent efforts of creating a 2 acre wide and 50 feet deep lake, which has not only transformed the surrounding area, but has also helped in improving the water table in the surrounding village, besides helping in the development of a self-sufficient organic farm and a dairy.
Doll Making Activity

Kindergarten students of Presidency School, Mangalore had a Doll Making Activity on 25th July 2020. This activity was conducted to improve the motor skills of the little ones by as they cut, fold and stick. They also use their imagination learning to “take care” of their dolls which teaches them compassion.
Yoga Day-21st June 2020

Yoga is an invaluable gift of ancient Indian tradition.Yoga day is celebrated annually in Presidency school Mangalore on 21st June since 2016. The students of Grades VI to XII with the teachers performed yoga throughout the week. On the assembly day the virtual Yoga session was led by Ms. Vandana. M along with Mr. Deekshith Kumar and Mr. Rajpal B, for Grades VI to XII.
Walk for a Cause- Road safety
On 3rd March, 253 students from grades 1 to 12 of Presidency School, Mangalore too part in Road Safety Awareness Walk, covering a distance of 1km. It started with a welcome speech by Adithi O G and Roshni Ramesh. The Principal, Mrs. Madhulika welcomed the parents and thanked the Police department for their services.
Mr. Rudrappa, the SI flagged off the safety walk at which the students & participants covered the stretch displaying placards and shouting road safety slogans enthusiastically. The students with their teachers, also organized street plays to create awareness among the commuters. The policemen who were on duty assisted in the smooth movement of traffic and safety of the students during the walk. The students enjoyed the interactive session with the Police personnel and were inspired to take the message back home about how critical road safety is. Mr. Rudrappa in his speech requested underage students not to drive and to be civic conscious citizens.
Valedictory 2021-22
March 26th, 2022 – a day earmarked in the school calendar as a special day, was the day the Presidency High family bid fond farewell to the outgoing batch of CBSE Class X, XII, and PU II students.
It was the most awaited moment of the year for the outgoing batch- their Valedictory Function. Walking down the aisle in all their splendour, with their heads held high, the VIP’s of the evening – the outgoing batch of students, took their much coveted places.
The symbolic lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest, His Excellency Shri Walter Nandalike- founder and managing director of daiji world media private limited , Praveen Tauro, marketing manager of Daiji world Media Private Limited was the guest of honour, Arun Devaraj, assistant director, PSMNG Group, Shaila Saldana, school principal, Javed, management representative, Prathibha Chethan, administrative head, took on an added significance as did the invocation that followed.
